Scope of Work: SP+ was retained in 2016 as a sub-contractor to perform certain services in connection with the Comprehensive Parking Study consulting services contract they entered into with the City of Asheville, NC. Services included the following tasks:

Assessed existing operations, technology, and financial procedures.

Identified approximately 50 benchmark City candidates with comparable operations, technology, and financial concerns and opportunities to assess.

Identified strategic improvements to the operational and technological aspects of the City’s parking management program.

Provided funding strategy recommendations and a strategic plan.

Technology Deployed

System Integrations

All integrations are done through APIs, where data is communicated in real time via Passport’s back office, the data is gathered from several cohesive sources. Data flows from the onsite pay stations (Global), the fixed and mobile LPR systems (Genetec), and from Passport’s enforcement tools and permitting solution. The APIs are written to pass necessary information from the payment and permit database to the enforcement equipment solution.
